Welcome to our latest article. As the weather starts to cool down, particularly in Southern Australia, we usually spend more time indoors. But before you do that, there are some things you can do to prepare your garden and outdoors for next spring. These preparations will also save you time in the future.
Here’s 4 tips for preparing your garden for the cooler months:
- Don’t let leaves lie on furniture or paving for too long as they can leach tannin and stain certain materials
- Keep an eye out for mould on furnishing materials and if possible remove these from furniture and store in a cool dry place inside during the colder months
- Clean out gutters at the end of Autumn as this is when they are most likely to fill with leaves from neighbourhood trees
- Book in a high pressure wash of house and paved areas after autumn to avoid having stains penetrate over winter
We hope you find these tips useful, and look forward to seeing you in store very soon.
