Blocks for the Future
Blocks for the future give designers a way of creating high quality, sustainable structures using building blocks with an architectural focus. They are made from an engineered sand that includes processed coloured glass aggregates.
The range of finishes including smooth, exposed aggregate, diamond brushed and polished. Blocks for the Future make it easy to be “green”.
After manufacture the blocks are treated to expose the glass sand particles on the surface, these finishes have never been seen in the marketplace before and are unique. The cementitious finely crushed glass allows us to reduce cement usage by 10% – reducing CO2 emissions whilst still achieving excellent product strength.
