In a recent extension and renovation project in Hawthorn East, Spacemaker approached Melbourne Brick to source the best possible matching reclaimed brick, ensuring a seamless transition between the old and new external facade finishes.
To create this stunning result for the homeowners, Spacemaker Home Extensions worked tirelessly to:
- Completely remove the existing kitchen, the second bedroom and the outdoor studio and laundry.
- Add a master suite with a walk-in robe and ensuite. Convert the existing dining room into a spacious new second bedroom to replace the inferior room that was removed. Design and construct a new kitchen with a large island bench providing additional cooking space especially when entertaining guests.
- Implement a light well to allow streams of natural light throughout the day, resulting in an open and modern ambience.
The bricks on the front facade, side and back of the house are very well matched, providing that seamless transition sought by Spacemaker on behalf of their client. These Recycled Red Blue Bricks were matched and sourced by Melbourne Brick.
